My science experiment testing Aristotle’s theory of falling objects

I chose this project because I thought it was a lot of fun doing a hands on experiment and all. Something I did really good in this assignment is I made sure to hold the bottles at the exact height each time so that my experiment results where accurate. One thing I could have done better in this assignment is sometimes I forgot to record my results right away and then I had a hard time remembering what to write down. Something interesting about this assignment was that we got to actually do fun things like throw bottles in the hall.

My amazing tusc project for English Language Arts

I chose this piece because I think task is one of the most fun things we do at school. Something I did well on this piece is I gave a lot of detail and when I was doing my task and everyone thought my humor really paid off. One thing I could have done better in this pieces I could have spoken a little louder and moved about the room. Something interesting about this assignment as I get to pick what I want to talk about for tusc.

Eye of the Storm

I have always been an avid Science Fiction fan and in this day and age when Science Fiction has become an overflowing, all-encompassing genre of fiction I am in my glory.

Yesterday I was reading an interesting article online about J.J. Abrams and there was a suggested link to this video.  I loved the subtle quality of the video as it hinted at post-apocalyptic storylines and emotional searching.

The music was also entrancing as it flows in a repetitive way that lulls you into the storyline of the video.  Watch the video below for a few minutes of entrancing story line and great emotional progressive rock.

The Future of Devices is Coming

My mother emailed a link to this one a few days ago and I just couldn’t believe it.  I presumed it to be a hoax immediately.  My sister and mother have been having a back and forth conversation about it over the past week.  Check out the video and link below to judge for yourself.

I am not certain that people would accept this type of technology as some  people might find it “creepy” or inconvenient.  I know that I would not like the display as much as it would not be as clear and would like be less user friendly.  Also, I think that you would be limited to one-hand communication at that point and it would dynamically change the way you interface with your phone.  You would have to change how you interact with it in total which would make you re-evaluate how you interact with technology as a whole.

People like to adopt new things but usually innovation of existing technology in stages works best.  If you alter something in small increments or “generations” people are more likely to accept new technology.  When a completely new thing arrives people are often suspicious and somewhat scared, which limits them from adopting and accepting the change.

I think this new form of technology could revolutionize the tech world but this company needs to make major partnerships in the tech community, consider a tiered roll-out system with adoptable stages in order for people to accept.  Also…it better darn work too.
